Philips P2000T
The Philips P2000T home computer was Philips' first real entry in the home computer market in 1981 and was
popular in education, science and data communication (mostly Viditel, a Videotex variant).
It was never a popular machine for gaming, since the SAA5050 Teletext chip used for the video signal limited the
graphic capabilities, but some nice games do exist.
I will soon™ have a lot to add to this page.
In June 2026 I found some Viditel demo tapes that until then were unknown and had not been archived.
They contain store demos featuring titles available on the Viditel network.
I've archived the tapes on the Internet Archive and on the P2000T Software Preservation GitHub archive.
They have since been featured in the Home Computer Museum in Helmond (The Netherlands).
